Contact message privacy

This notice covers the written and ASL video forms on the MSAD Contact page.

Your message

Your reply email, optional video-message name, and message are sent to the MSAD contact team using the recipient list managed by MSAD. For written messages, the form also asks for your name and topic.

ASL videos

Videos can be up to two minutes long. They are stored outside the public website. Notification emails open a protected conversation, and team members must sign in with an authorized MSAD account to view incoming videos. Team members can download a copy if they need to keep it.

The shared inbox is available only to authorized, signed-in MSAD team members. When the team replies, you receive a private conversation link that lets you read and respond without an account. Anyone with that complete link can open your conversation. Keep the link to yourself. Each invitation expires after 60 days; a newer reply email provides a new link.

Written messages, your reply email and name remain with the conversation in the private inbox, including after it is archived. Each incoming or reply video is deleted after 60 days; an expiry notice remains in its place.

The website automatically deletes each video after 60 days. Its playback and download links stop working at that time. This deletion does not remove notification emails or copies that someone has already downloaded.

Spam protection

Both forms use hidden spam traps, short-lived submission tokens and submission limits. A temporary hash of the connection's IP address helps enforce those limits.

Both forms also use Cloudflare Turnstile for a background spam check. Cloudflare processes browser signals for this check as described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. Your ASL video is stored by MSAD; it is not uploaded to Turnstile.
