The DR. RICHARD THOMPSON LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
recognizes an individual who has demonstrated a consistent commitment over a long period of time to the Deaf community and whose efforts have had a substantial impact on the lives of Deaf/hard of hearing people in Massachusetts.
The DR. RICHARD THOMPSON LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD is given to a person who:
is either a Deaf, hard of hearing or hearing person;
has demonstrated lifetime deep commitment to the believe that Deaf people can achieve at a level comparable to that achieved by other people;
has participated in, and given strong leadership to, activities that have resulted in better opportunities for Deaf people in state of Massachusetts;
is a Massachusetts resident.
